This is a one off custom Tele style guitar painted by David BonVillain for a Hearts and Horses charity event in 2022. The guitar has been meticulously cared for, and is in mint condition. This is a 1 of 1, and his attempt at recreating a look BonVillain did for Steve Vai (last photo).
From BonVillain: Charity auction guitar for @heartsandhorses_loveland - a local charity that I’ve supported for several years. Wasn’t sure I was gonna be able to get one done this year, but a while back a buddy had left a couple bodies in the shop cut by R Low Vaughn out of Idaho… I had painted them last spring and just never got em finished. So I grabbed the rest of the parts and got it together in time - online auction starts in a couple weeks and ends the night of their gala event on the 24th of September. Musikraft neck (V profile), 4 way switch controls from Atlantic Custom Guitars, Lindy Fralin pickup in the neck, Babicz full-contact bridge, Gotoh tuners.
